L’Officiel and Sandbox to launch multiple web3 initiatives


Paris-born fashion and luxury media company L’Officiel recently celebrated its 100th anniversary. To make this already historic moment totally unforgettable for brand connoisseurs, L’Officiel recently signed an agreement with The Sandbox, a world-leading decentralized gaming metaverse and a subsidiary of Animoca Brands. As a result of the iconic collaboration, a new L’Officiel Land will be created in The Sandbox called Fashion Dune to act as an outdoor cultural space.

The metaverse space will be a totally new and updated way of delivering editorial content to the public. The Land will remember the desert Martian landscapes, with the covers of the most iconic and enormous magazines throughout a century of its existence. Thus, the L’Officiel web3 space will act as an open-air digital theater, which will open with a series of fashion and culture exhibitions in September 2022.

But that is not all. The team also marks the first issue of the magazine’s Metaverse issue, entirely dedicated to Web3 and luxury fashion’s role in it, the overwhelming fashion of NFTs, and the way it pushes luxury brands to launch products in the kingdom.
